Nina vellayan
Chief Executive Officer and President
As CEO and President, Nina oversees all day-to-day operations and strategic planning for business development.
Nina has over 20 years of experience in the banking and payment processing industry. Prior to joining FrontStream Payments, Nina held the position of Chief Operating Officer & EVP at Tier Technologies, Inc., which is a provider of electronic payment solutions in the biller direct market. Her responsibilities included day to day business operations of the company, including overseeing all of sales and marketing, as well as technology and operations. In this role, she provided fiscal, strategic and operational leadership to the company.
Before joining Tier Technologies Inc., Nina was President of Business Office Solutions, a division of Sallie Mae Inc. She was responsible for the vision and creation of the division in 2001, and held full planning, operating, finance, sales, marketing, product delivery, and P/L responsibility.
Nina earned an M.B.A. in financial management and a B.S. in economics from the University of Maryland.
Tom Head
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Tom has responsibility for all financial/accounting, HR/personnel, legal, risk management, treasury and general administrative functions.
Tom has over 30 years of experience providing financial expertise to several large companies. Prior to joining Frontstream, he was Chief Financial Officer for Valutec Card Solutions, the premier gift/loyalty program provider to the small merchant market.
Previously, Tom served in a variety of financial management roles with Nu-kote International (international manufacturer/distributor); Thomas Nelson, Inc. (international publisher); Rogers Group, Inc. (regional construction firm); and Pinkerton Tobacco Company (international manufacturer/marketer).
Tom holds a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Brescia University and an M.B.A. from Murray State University. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
Terry Lopresti
Chief Technology Officer
Terry oversees the technology team and guides their efforts in improving FrontStream’s technologies, product capabilities and marketability.
As a financial services veteran, Terry brings a twenty year track record of successful product development, quality assurance management, infrastructure support, PCI compliance and product management to FrontStream Payments. She has held similar positions at Tier Technologies, Inc. and Sallie Mae, Inc.
Terry holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in eCommerce solutions from Strayer University.
Bill degraff
Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Product Management
Bill DeGraff manages the development of new payment technologies and also oversees the marketing of FrontStream’s payment technologies and strategic initiatives.
Bill has 30 years of experience working with world class industry leaders, including Visa USA, MasterCard International, Citibank and GE Capital. His main focus centers around bringing services to market and balancing the realities of a client’s business and technical requirements, with a company’s financial goals and strategies.
Bill holds a B.S. in Computer Science/Business and his M.S. in Computer Science from State University of New York.
Kerry Kodatt
Senior Vice President, Sales
Kerry is responsible for leading all sales and customer care activities within the FrontStream VAR/Partnership sales channel.
Kerry has been in the POS, Software and Payment Services sectors for over 20 years and has held numerous executive level positions with Chase, First Data, Paymentech, and Retail Pro. Additionally, he has served as a consultant to multiple payment companies and held board positions with various organizations, including publicly traded, privately held and charitable entities.
Kerry holds a B.S. in Economics and a M.B.A. in international business from Bellarmine University.
asim walia
Senior Vice President, Sales
Asim Walia is responsible for business development activities primarily related to FrontStream’s targeted growth verticals, including education, government and non-profits.
Asim has 10 years of experience with sales leadership, which has provided him with a diverse portfolio of skills, including finance and business development. He spent nine years at Sallie Mae, Inc., where he progressed from the position of Sales Executive to Vice President of Sales, Business Office Solutions. His strong background in the electronic payments industry has translated well to his responsibility of managing sales teams who are focused on higher education institutions, state/local municipalities, non-profit, and the private sector.
Asim holds a B.S. in Finance from George Mason University.
Carlee Hudachko
Vice President, Client Relations and Inside Sales
Carlee oversees FrontStream’s Client Relations, Inside Sales and ISO/Agent programs, executing company directive through her team of relationship managers and sales coordinators.
Carlee has over 10 years of experience in the electronic payments industry, including a background in operations and organizational development. With strong sales and management skills, Carlee has worked for companies such as the Utah Hotel & Lodging Association as the Assistant Director and oversaw Client Relations for SaleSynergy, which was acquired by FrontStream Payments. Carlee’s expertise includes managing FSP’s top merchants and all agent relationships while focusing on merchant retention and growth within the ISO/Agent channel.
Carlee earned her B.S. in Management/Business-Hospitality and Tourism Specialization from the University of Utah.
Sean mcginn
Vice President, Operations
Sean is in charge of underwriting, risk management, data entry, deployment and customer service.
He recently held positions with First Data Merchant Services, Principle Payment Solutions and Merchant Processing Services and is a seasoned industry expert with 14 years of experience in the field of payment processing. His skills include a unique combination of management expertise in credit risk, underwriting, vendor relationships, customer service management, merchant portfolio assessment, and team management.
Sean earned his B.A. degree in English from State University of New York.
todd youngren
Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis
Todd is responsible for budgeting, revenue forecasting and portfolio analysis.
Todd has over 20 years of financial management experience and his background includes working with large corporations, as well as small and mid-size firms in the banking industry. He has worked with companies such as Official Payments Corporation and Sallie Mae, Inc., along with several government agencies. Todd has expertise in financial planning and budgeting, risk and cost management, vendor management and treasury operations.
Todd earned his M.B.A. at Marymount University, with a concentration in Financial Management and his B.A. from Lawrence University, in Philosophy.
tracy harder
Vice President, Human Resources
Tracy is responsible for providing human resources to FrontStream’s four locations in Nashville, Ft. Lauderdale, Seattle, and Reston.
Tracy has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, including work at both plant level and corporate locations. She has held several prestigious positions working for companies such as Renaissance Mark, a U.S and Canadian multi site prime label printer, Holley Performance Products, a multi site automotive aftermarket retail supplier, and Franklin Precision Industries, an original equipment supplier to Toyota. Tracy has expertise in managing recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and employment policy issues.
Tracy holds a B.A. in Mass Communication with a minor in Business and M.A. in Organizational Development/ Corporate Communication from Western Kentucky University.
